Description
Watch the video to see how the characters fold and unfold at http://bit.ly/1hVMgBt . Alpha Blocks is a collection of 36 pop-up characters (26 letters and 10 numbers). Each character is laser cut onto a playing card size piece [of] Fabriano Tiziano paper available in four colors: white, charcoal, moss green and blue gray ... packaged flat in a see through case ... I discovered the font Block-Up in an old letraset catalog in 1985, when I was taking a class on letterforms as an exchange student in Germany and 'translated' the two-dimensional rendering of the font into three dimensions to create Alpha Blocks. Graphic design by Leah Moch Uvodich, Portland, OR; laser cutting by Alicia Bailey at Ravenpress Studio in Aurora, CO--Artist's website
