The cover is handmade from the artists' uniform worn in Iraq along with shredded American flags and U.S. currency. The cover is printed letterpress with handset type at the San Francisco Center for the Book. All photographs were taken with disposable cameras by Nathan Lewis and Jeff Guthrie.
